Return policy

RETURN & WARRANTY POLICY


At Hilario’Art, every creation is a promise of eternity.

1. Returns

If you wish to request a return, our return window is 30 days from the date of delivery.

After this period, and without a valid justification, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your artwork must:

  • be in the exact condition in which you received it,

  • be strictly unused,

  • be returned in its complete original packaging (black box, protective elements, shipping carton, certificate if included).

A proof of purchase or order number is required to validate your request.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming the receipt and informing you whether your refund is approved or refused.
If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original method of payment within a few days.

Hilario’Art cannot be held responsible for delays caused by strikes, blockages, or any event preventing the normal transportation of goods.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you have not received your refund yet:

  1. First, check your bank account again.

  2. Then contact your credit card company, as processing may take time.

  3. Next, contact your bank — processing delays are common.
    If you have completed all these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at: contact@hilarioart.com.

 

2. Return Procedure

Once your returned parcel is received in our studio:

  • our team inspects the artwork,

  • we inform you by email of its condition,

  • we confirm the approval or refusal of your refund,

  • if approved, the refund is automatically issued within a few days.

Hilario’Art cannot be held responsible for delays caused by strikes, blockages, or any exceptional disruption of transport services.

 

3. Shipping Fees & Refunds

Returns due to change of mind

  • Initial shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • If a refund is granted, return shipping costs may be deducted when applicable.

Returns for damaged or defective items

If your artwork arrives damaged — which is extremely rare:

  • Hilario’Art covers the full return cost,

  • a prepaid return label will be provided,

  • you will not incur any additional fees,

  • the refund is full and complete, including initial shipping fees, once the artwork is received and inspected.

 

4. Sale or Discounted Items

Sale or discounted items cannot be refunded, unless the item was delivered damaged.

 

5. Exchanges

We only replace items that:

  • arrive damaged, or

  • exhibit a defect covered by our warranty.

Returns must be shipped to:
60 Rue François 1er, 75008 PARIS, France.

If you are returning an artwork valued above €75, we strongly recommend:

  • using a tracked shipping service, or

  • purchasing shipping insurance.

Hilario’Art cannot guarantee the receipt of any return shipped without tracking.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your reimbursement.

Processing times for exchanged items may vary depending on your location.

 

6. Lifetime Warranty

Because each creation is designed as a lasting legacy, all Hilario’Art pieces come with a lifetime warranty against design defects and abnormal material deterioration.

This warranty covers, for example:

  • abnormal yellowing of carbon fiber,

  • adhesion defects on gold leaf or metallic finishes,

  • abnormal structural failure not caused by impact or mishandling.

 

7. Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover:

  • damage caused by improper handling or misuse,

  • impacts, drops, or pressure damage,

  • shipping damage when the original packaging was not used,

  • exposure to extreme conditions (humidity, heat, prolonged direct sunlight),

  • any modification or repair performed by an unauthorized third party.

 

8. Warranty Procedure

To activate your warranty, please contact us at:

Please include:

  • your certificate of authenticity (or order number),

  • clear photos showing the issue,

  • a description of the problem encountered.

We respond within 24 to 48 hours.
